You wake up one morning and decide that unlike other mornings where you are running out to work without having breakfast that you will treat yourself to a rare occasion. As you put the bread in the toaster and turn on the kettle you press your remote control to turn on the TV. Immediately you sense something has happened because every one of the main TV station you watch have a newsflash.

As you listen to the news whilst turning your back to go and get your toast you hear that there has been a scientific breakthrough that is being hailed as the greatest advancement in the history of the human race. Scientists have managed to export the brain from a dead person to a synthetic body in which the synthetic host has showed signs of consciousness.

Elon Reeve Musk is a South African-born Canadian-American business magnate who is the founder, CEO, and CTO of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla Motors; co-founder and chairman of SolarCity; co-chairman of OpenAI; co-founder of Zip2; and founder of which merged with PayPal of Confinity.

As of June 2016, he had an estimated net worth of US$11.5 billion, making him the 83rd wealthiest person in the world. Musk has stated that the goals of SolarCity, Tesla Motors, and SpaceX revolve around his vision to change the world and humanity. His goals include reducing global warming through sustainable energy production and consumption, and reducing the "risk of human extinction" by "making life multiplanetary" by setting up a human colony on Mars.

With such a colorful and vibrant futuristic view on technology you would have thought that Musk would have welcomed and championed the advancement of artificial intelligence. However in 2014 Musk was interviewed at the MIT AeroAstro Centennial Symposium in front of a live audience where he made an extremely controversial statement.

I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I had to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that. So we need to be very careful with artificial intelligence. I’m increasingly inclined to think that there should be some regulatory oversight, maybe at the national and international level, just to make sure that we don’t do something very foolish. With artificial intelligence we’re summoning the demon. You know those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram, and the holy water, and he’s like — Yeah, he’s sure he can control the demon? Doesn’t work out. (Elon Musk)

Summoning The Demon

It is not Just Elon Musk sounding the warning here. Prominent scientists like Stephen Hawking, Nick Bostron, Lord Rees, and even Bill Gates all have sounded the alarm over the potential risk of artificial intelligence, naming it as the biggest threat to humanity that they can foresee. Lord Rees, who once was head of the Royal Society, even founded the “Centre for the Study of Existential Risk” to deal with the AI threat,.

Just within the last five years or so, numerous technological breakthroughs in the field of artificial intelligence are forcing people to accept that artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction but a growing and powerful force in our everyday world. It now operates in our cars, our devices, recommends the articles and books we read and the movies we watch.

For millions of us connected online, artificial intelligence deeply influences the way we think, perceive, and navigate the world, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. Given how far technology has come--and the speed at which it got here--we cannot assume that it will stop at some point or reach some unknowable threshold beyond which no further progress will be made.

Those who take the view that artificial intelligence will never reach human-level intelligence or greater--aka superintelligence--make this assumption. This has been especially true for Christians (in the past) since it is believed that humans (and human intelligence) are the result of God’s supernatural creation.

As it says in the book of Genesis, God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)

Since only God can give the breath of life to non-living matter, then surely humans don’t have the ability to do the same, right? Not quite.

What’s the difference between an artificially intelligent machine and a sentient (self-aware) one? AI machines can learn more on their own, they can set and solve problems, but that doesn’t make them aware of their own existence as a separate entity. They aren’t self-consciousness like a person is, at least not yet. (Ray Kurzweil)

The Early Forms of Artificial Intelligence

Deep Blue was a chess-playing computer developed by IBM. It is known for being the first computer chess-playing system to win both a chess game and a chess match against a reigning world champion under regular time controls. Deep Blue won its first game against a world champion on February 10, 1996, when it defeated Garry Kasparov in game one of a six-game match. However, Kasparov won three and drew two of the following five games, defeating Deep Blue by a score of 4–2.

Deep Blue was then heavily upgraded, and played Kasparov again in May 1997. Deep Blue won game six, therefore winning the six-game rematch 3½–2½ and becoming the first computer system to defeat a reigning world champion in a match under standard chess tournament time controls.

After the loss, Kasparov said that he sometimes saw deep intelligence and creativity in the machine's moves, suggesting that during the second game, human chess players had intervened on behalf of the machine, which would be a violation of the rules. IBM denied that it cheated, saying the only human intervention occurred between games. The rules provided for the developers to modify the program between games, an opportunity they said they used to shore up weaknesses in the computer's play that were revealed during the course of the match.

The achievements of Deep Blue were eclipsed in 2011 by  an artificial intelligence system called Watson. Watson was named after IBM's first CEO and industrialist Thomas J. Watson. The computer system was specifically developed to answer questions on the quiz show Jeopardy!.

In 2011, Watson competed on Jeopardy! against former winners Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings. Watson received the first place prize of $1 million.

Watson had access to 200 million pages of structured and unstructured content consuming four terabytes of disk storage including the full text of Wikipedia, but was not connected to the Internet during the game.

The exploits of Deep Blue Chess and Watson now seem like distant memories so what of recent times. Has there been any change in artificial intelligence since then? especially if Kasparov was seeing signs of a form of human intelligence with Deep Blue that he simply felt a computer couldn't replicate. Well yes, as recently as March 2016.

Google Deepmind vs Lee Sedol: A Change in Artificial Intelligence Learning

Lee Sedol had seen all the tricks. He knew all the moves. As one of the world’s best and most experienced players of the complex board game Go, it was difficult to surprise him. But halfway through his first match against AlphaGo, the artificially intelligent player developed by Google DeepMind, Lee was already flabbergasted. AlphaGo’s moves throughout the competition, which it won earlier this month, four games to one, weren’t just notable for their effectiveness.

AlphaGo also came up with entirely new ways of approaching a game that originated in China two or three millennia ago and has been played obsessively since then. Players claim territory when their stones completely surround and capture their opponent’s stones. When there are no more moves to make, the player who controls more of the board is the winner.

By their fourth game, even Lee was thinking differently about Go and its deceptively simple grid. The AlphaGo-Lee Sedol matchup was an intense contest between human and artificial intelligence. But it also contained several moves made by both man and machine that were outlandish, brilliant, creative, foolish, and even beautiful.

Why The Fuss?

Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Bible prophecy talks about a “Beast” system where everyone is controlled, where they are unable to buy, sell, or participate in economic or social life without being part of that system. While people have been looking at RFID chips and other technology which is becoming commonplace, the agenda has moved ahead with lightning speed. Yet very few have any idea how far it has advanced – and where it really is going, even though it is at the doorstep.

Up until the end of the 20th century the scripture in Revelation 13 referring to the image of the beast was commonly thought to be speaking about some huge giant statute that people would have to bow before. We all may have tongue in cheek laughed at the practicality and audacity of such a scenario yet the more serious truth is that something more than just a statue will be formed in the not too distant future.

Something will soon be formed which will be synthetic yet have a consciousness and capacity to act and think which will be deemed to be the greatest scientific and technological breakthrough in the history of the human race. Man will have created another intelligent life form. You see the real problem isn’t the technology, in one sense.

The problem is that as we try to make artificial intelligence surrogates more human and teach them to think on their own, what we’re imparting to them is our own sinful nature. “Robot and Frank” is a testament to that, and although it makes us laugh, it isn’t that far from what really will happen. Not because machines necessarily are evil, but because without God, the heart of man always corrupts what is good.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

The Image of the Antichrist Is Not Recognized by God Almighty

Its quite interesting to spot that at the Battle of Armageddon when Jesus Christ comes back to earth to establish his millennial kingdom, he is opposed by the armies of the earth led by the Antichrist and the False Prophet, who both are captured and thrown into Hell.

Remember until the return of Christ the new world order will have disintegrated with different regional powers seeking to seize control of the middle east by capturing Jerusalem as a political and symbolic military objective. However with Israel on the point of destruction Jesus Christ will burst onto the scene at which point the warring factions will seemingly unite to oppose this new invader which they may view to be an attack from some form of extraterrestrial presence.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

However what is interesting here is that there is no mention of the "image of the beast". The synthetic thing which is built in the likeness of the Antichrist (Revelation 13) which has the capacity to speak and engage is not mentioned as being taken alive and thrown along with the Antichrist and the false prophet into hell.

This must mean that God himself does not even recognize the "image of the beast" as being an individual. An individual which has a soul must face God at some point regarding eternity yet instead the "image of the beast" literally disappears from scripture and is never mentioned again.

Some believe that maybe the removal of the Antichrist from earth results in a structural and material collapse of his "image" as there could be some form of  maternal/matter connection between the human and his avatar.

But the bottom line here is that the "image" is not taken or captured because as far as God almighty is concerned it has no importance because it is not human.

The Artificial Antichrist

The Artificial Antichrist will explore the biblical descriptions of this coming technological moment in mankind's history and why the False Prophet is such as critical component of this agenda. What will be the specific expectations of the globalists, Islam, the Vatican, Freemasonry, and others in regards to the "image of the beast". Will the image be a vessel inhabited by a Nephilim? Why is the Vatican openly preparing to receive an “alien” visitor? Will he be a resurrection of Nimrod? Is his DNA a factor? What are the expectations of transhumanist technologists in this regard? Is the image of the beast some form of avatar?

Clearly, the Bible has much more to illuminate this issue far beyond the popular conceptions; and yet the composite perspective will astonish most. Furthermore, is there a climactic cosmic deception being prepared that, if it were possible, “it would deceive the very elect”? Jesus commanded us, “Be not deceived.” But, how? How close are these events to our current horizon?

This audio CD documentary contains over 12 hours of debate and prophetic insight.

  • Why does an alternative understanding of the False Prophet reveal that he is not a religious leader but a technological leader?

  • Why is drone technology taking on more and more prophetic significance?

  • What significant developments have taken place in 2016 with Project 2045?

  • If beings are created which were not created in Gods image and do not have a soul then what happens to them when they die?

  • Is their proof that artificial intelligence was being explored during the era of the Egyptian and Sumerian dynasties?

  • Why will artificial intelligence lead to a significant shift in demonic corruption where men will be attracted to and seek lustful pleasure with human looking robots?

  • What is the soul, memory and consciousness and are super technologies utilizing new age concepts such as astral projection, spiritual grids? etc.
